I have extra ATMEGA32 lying around with Megadrum firmware flashed to it. I tried erasing it but unsuccessful any Idea why I am unable to READ/WRITE/ERASE my ATEMGA32? The firmware is the last un-encrypted.

Depends on what it says when you try to erase it.

Possible reasons:
1. Signature in your Atmega has been damaged. Had it one time and even though it kept working I couldn't re-program it.
2. Something wrong with your programmer.

But when I plug this ATMEGA to megadrum it is working. I just want to erase it and use it for other purpose..
