Ok I will thank you Dmitri. Just one more thing, it does make the usb sound on the pc when I plug it in, but it just doesn't show in my system tray.

Just as any other USB devices after Windows installed drivers on the first connection it shouldn't show it in a system tray anymore. You should see it in the Device Manager under Sound devices if it already has been detected.

It does pick it up ( only as a generic USB device though). The led blinks when I hit the pad( I have only one pad connected for now) but there is no sound at all.

You won't get any sounds from Megadrum itself! It's a midi trigger, NOT a drums brain! You need a piece of drums software such as Toontrack's EZ Drummer (not free) or Hydrogen (free) to produce the sounds. Megadrum acts as a link between your pads and a drum program (like the previous two). It translates the hit on your pad to something that EZ Drummer for example can understand so it can produce the right sound.

It should work in Windows but I think it is only in Alpha stage, still it's worth trying.
