Using footswitch to trigger in megadrum?

Hi folks,
I did a search, but "switch" got omitted, so not much luck there...

Is it possible to hook up a standard momentary footswitch to trigger one of the channels in the megadrum?

Thanks!
Joel

Megadrum assumes that there is a voltage input as a trigger. If you put a 1.5v battery in series with the switch battery- to the ground (sleeve) battery+ through the switch to the tip input, it should work. You might have to tune the gain but I suspect 1.5v should be enough to trigger.

This should work:

Vcc can be taken from MegaDrum or from a battery. R1 and R2 can be 4k7, C1 - 100nF.

That worked great. I'm using an Arduino in the same case to control LEDs to indicate what samples are being triggered (I'm using the megadrum to trigger clips in Ableton).

Found an old reverb tank that I've had for a while and built the foot pedal.
