Roland VH11 cannot configure the edge Zone

I first tried to build a hall effect sensor hi hat but gave up on this, because I tried several times with different sensors but never got it work, so I switched to the common VH11.
I didn´t made the resistor mod yet, but I probably see what the benefit will be because the resolution of the open to close transition is really tight. But I think I will do this right on the input in the module, later.
But actually everything except the edge zone works like a breeze, if I select the single piezo the bow area work fine and as "advertised". But when I switch to dual zone and set the edge to switch there´s always just Midi Note "0" instead of the given note in the setting for both zones and no sounds were triggered. I use the CC4 continous control function of ez drummer 2, all states between open close work in a smooth transition.
I just have to refine the chick/splash function, chick seems to be OK, but splash is quite difficult to achieve.
I use EZ Drummer 2 as sound source, but it seems like the problem is in my megadrum settings. I am at work now, but it would be nice if somebody would like to check my settings later, when I put my settings as screenshots in here later.
I read and see so much support in here for many issues, hopefully somebody can help me out, because for me it´s inacceptable to just use one of two zones, for the price I paid for the VH11
Because it´s ridiculous expensive for what it is.
By the way, can anybody show me how to open up the casing from Dmitri, which screws, for the resistor mod. I´m a bit afraid to loosen the wrong ones, so that the pcb inside get loose.
I got the Megadrum 32 Input version with the aluminum case. Help would be really appreciated.
