hi
I have a cheap drum module who I got together with drums d-tronic q5 I wonder if it is able to connect it via midi to megadrum to use build-in sounds from module. So far I managed to get the sounds from the bank marked var0 (by connecting it via midi to megadrum nad changing note number from 0 to 127). Do any of you have an idea how to force megadrum to use other sound banks? I did some internal research and found out that the module is built on the SAM 2553 chip and flash memory with sounds. Chip specification can be found at dream.fr below i put scan of the list of sounds and MIDI Implementation chart which have been included in the manual.

MegaDrum can be configured to send Program Change messages. Usually PC MIDI messages are used to switch between different sound banks.

Thanks for extra fast reply Dmitri but can you give me specific instructions on how to do it because I am completely green with these midi stuff.
I would like to obtain, for example, sounds from the AD in the heads and sounds from the module on rims is this possible?

It's in the MegaDrum documentation: http://www.megadrum.info/content/pads-settings

With PC messages you can only switch a whole bank. Look in your module manual how to create a custom bank with all required sounds.
