Basic Wirering Problem?

Postby ArnoNym » Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:28 am

i just finished my Coltronic-Clone (10Pad Drumcase).

now i recognised double notes on my single piezo pads.... first i thought it is a misconfigured megadrum.

But now .... i think all over ... i guess there is another basic building problem !!!!

problem:
----------

1 Pad (with 2 wires black and red) goes in my construction to 2 inputs of the megadrum input connector on the synthex v2.8 board

2 inputs = 2 midi notes? this must be the mistake

solution in my opinion:
-------------------------

1 Pad (with 2 wires black and red) have to 1 inputs (e.g. red wire) of the megadrum input connector on the synthex v2.8 board and the black wire is GROUND?????

1 inputs = 1 midi note? problem solved?

that means i have to make ground-circle for all pads and wire this to the ground-pin of the input connector of the megadrum-pcb?

Please leave me a comment ... so i know whether i have to open the construction again or not.

Thanx a lot

This is not a solution to a problem. There is no problem here. This exactly how it must be done.

See my comment above.
