optical hi hat

just built an optical hi hat controller...but can't seem to make it work...the led is lighting but i could not get changes when i block or unlock the light...what could be possible problems?...or additional setting i have to do to make it work?..

Wrong parts, incorrectly soldered phototransistor, incorrectly connected to MegaDrum, incorrectly set AltIn in Pedal settings.

i got it working...looks smooth in MCT but can't seem to get the sounds in between...only the open and closed hi hat sound...what could be the problem?..
