HaHaHaHa I should have tried it in SD before taking the pics - it works :) :)
Just never worked with CC messages before so I didn't recognize it as correct in MIDI-OX :)
Thanks for all the help guys! :)

I'm using a Pintech Hyperhat which is similar to the Roland FD-7 and FD-8 style pedal controllers.

Hm looks like I laughed a bit too early... HiHat works in general, but once in a while (like every 1-2 minutes) it sends a Close-Open Sequence without me being even near the drumset.
On the big VU meter the HiHat bar is missing the very last line to be filled 100% - does that indicate something?

If the VU meter doesn't reach top when the pedal is full pressed you need to lower HighLevel.
If the VU meter doesn't reach bottom when the pedal is fully pressed you need to raise LowLevel.

I reduced to High/Low level of 29/28 (lower and it wouldn't work anymore) but I still get random CC messages as if the pedal was released (without any1 being in the same room)

HighLevel=29 and LowLevel=28?

Usually AutoLevels for switch type pedals works fine. It is the first time someone has so much problems with a switch type pedal.
The cause is one of this:
1. The pedal is not a switch type pedal, incorrect/damaged cable.
2. The Low/High impedance switch internal cable is disconnected or connected in reverse thus swapping the meaning of the switches positions.
3. The Low/High impedance switch is broken.

In the last case, send the module back to me for testing and fixing if needed.

The pedal still works on my Alesis DM5 module with the same cable... I will take the module apart again soon to check the cables again, lets see what else the mailman shook off ;)
Im planning on making a Hall-Effect-Sensor based HiHat the next week, so let's see how it works then... :) For now I just ignore the random HiHat sounds since they are just coming up when I'm not playing :)
